Sponsorship Contract

How may one apply for spousal or family sponsorship?

Apply to sponsor

• The application package's form needs to be downloaded and filled out by the sponsor first.
• Digitally sign the document with the lead applicant, who you intend to sponsor.
• After completing the forms, the applicant will upload them with their online application.
• The applicant will sign the application in its entirety after completing the online form.

The applicant must register for an account on the online application portal for permanent residence.

Spousal Types: Applications for Common-Law Sponsorship

Inland: Since the individual you wish to sponsor resides in Canada, the application can be completed there. Under this type of sponsorship, candidates are permitted to remain in Canada while their application for permanent residence is being processed.

• Have attained the age of eighteen,
• Have the person(s) you are supporting as your kid or grandchild,
• Completing the Minimum Necessary Income (MNI) required for their family size and presenting notices of examination from the Canada Revenue Agency as documentation
• Sign a sponsorship agreement pledging to provide for the family member(s)' basic requirements for a period of 20 years.
